Check out the following film events in the upcoming days!

The LFC will be enjoying a little R&R for the next week so you may not see too many posts in the days ahead. But there is much going on film-wise while we’re gone so we thought we’d give a little update.

Check out the following events — and we’ll catch up on more film news when we return!

FREE MOVIE NIGHT AT THE MILL!
Thursday, September 24, 6PM

An announcement from our new film friends in Lawrence, MA:

Please come for a free screening of The Greening of Southie and a discussion with the producer, Curt Ellis, on Thursday, September 24 at 6:00pm at 50 Island Street, Building 9. A tour of the buildings that encompass the Union Crossing green redevelopment will occur beforehand at 5:30pm. We’ll have a discussion with film producer Curt Ellis and developers of Union Crossing after the film, which documents the construction of Boston’s first residential “green” building and the surprising way in which it brings together an entire community. We’ll also have a bake sale during the show as a fundraiser for the future community spaces at Union Crossing. Come with your picnic blankets and chairs, and enjoy the show!

For more information, please contact Dan Koff at dkoff@lcworks.org.
